THE ACRONYM DICTIONARY!!!
I decided to compile a bunch of acronyms into a sort of dictionary for a project over the summer.
But then I realized how tricky it would be to find new acronyms to put into what I hope will be an ever-growing compilation. So anyway, I decided I would start now by asking all of you for your input. I will put all the names of people who help on a page as well. So please send in some acronyms you know ONLY IF YOU THINK I DON'T HAVE THEM (I don't need 100 different people telling me about NASA and FBI) with their meaning and a little background if at all possible. Send this to quow@alltel.net. And please remember I am looking for acronyms, NOT abbreviations! CIA is an acronym. ATL (Atlanta) and TV (television) are abbreviations.
